Rihanna in a recent interview with vanity fair has revealed that constantly being reminded of ex boyfriend Chris brown’s brutal assault on her in 200 9 has prolonged the pain of the incident.

the singer when  asked how it feels to always be the poster child for domestic violence; the singer said that it’s like being “punished over and over” when she gets reminded of the horrific incident.
also the singer also explained why its hard for her to get over the issues herself
I just never understood that, like how the victim gets punished over and over. It’s in the past ,and I don’t want to say “Get over it,” because it’s a very serious thing that is still relevant; and  it’s still real a lot of young girls still go through it and alot of young guys still sweep it under the rug.
however the man down performer add :That the reason behind her going back to Chris was felt that people didn’t understand him (Chris brown) and she thought she could change him. Despite been found with guys lately she made it clear that chris brown remains her last real boy friend and her feelings still remain and she still cares about him.
She said that she blamed herself and Chris for rekindling their romance in late 2012 and the following year she asked the court to left the restriction. She added that she felt like she could be a guardian angel to him and encourage him in a positive way  but upon realizing that sticking around will only make her vulnerable and will keep bring memories of what had happened to she just had to make the hard decision of walking away.. About her current dating status she said
" I’ve had to be so conscious about people –what they say and why they want to sleep with me …it makes me guarded and protective. I learned the hard way" she said speaking to Vanity Fair.
