Nigerian Boxer Signed To Floyd Mayweather Company Shines On His Debut


It’s a moment of joy for Nigerian boxer, Oluwafemi Oyeleye, who recently signed a contract with Floyd Mayweather promotional company, after coming out victorious on his professional debut. The 2015 All Africa Games gold medalist, OLUWAFEMI won his debut  fight against Brian  True at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on Friday.

Oyeleye, who won gold in the 69kg welterweight category in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo, recently signed a promotional contract with Mayweather Promotions, a boxing promotional firm founded by five-division world and eleven-time world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2007.

The 21 year old boxer who won 166 fights as an amateur moved to the United States last March in controversial circumstances after failing to secure a spot on the boxing team to the Rio Olympics Boxing Trials held in Cameroun.
